THDP-AU1200-II is an all-inclusive hardware and software development platform targeted at high-end digital media devices.

THDP-AU1200-II is based on AMD’s Alchemy Au1200 MIPS SOC. This System-on-Chip (SoC) provides on-chip decoding of virtually all digital media formats, including MPEG1, 2, and 4; DivX 3, 4, and 5; H.263; and WMV9 video at D1 resolution (720 x 480) on handheld media-rich devices, without the need for transcoding.

THDP-IXP425-I is based on Intel’s IXP425 network processor. IXP425 provides on-chip Network Processor Engine (NPE) for wire-speed network processing performance. It also provides integrated hardware acceleration of popular cryptography algorithms (SHA-1, MD5, DES, 3DES, AES) for secure applications; high-speed serial ports and Utopia2 for WAN connectivity; standard PCI v2.2 host and option interface for glueless connection of up to four devices.
